The Dave Pike Set was a jazz band that existed between 1968 and 1972 featuring Dave Pike on the vibraphone, Hans Rettenbacher on bass and cello, Peter Baumeister on drums, and Volker Kriegel on guitar and sitar. They are best known for their Indian-vibe hit Mathar.
