Dave Duncan is one of a handful of songwriters that has success in multiple genres. After moving to Nashville from Tucson in 1993, he wrote songs that appeared on 2 country Gold Records… “1-800 Use To Be ” ( Lorrie Morgan) & “You Know How Women Are” ( Buddy Jewell). Lorrie Morgan sang a rousing version of 1-800 on the David Letterman Show late one August night that year.

Duncan has also found success with his blues songs,in particular being nominated for 2009 Blues Song of The Year for the classic “20 Years of BB King”… a song he wrote for the award winning soul singer, Curtis Salgado.

2012 brought the new record by Curtis Salgado called Soul Shot. This CD immediately topped the blues & soul charts…powered by three Duncan/Salgado originals
Love Comfort Zone, She Didn’t Cut Me Loose, and the gospel tinged A Woman or The Blues.

This album is currently receiving airplay worldwide as Mr Salgado’s career is at its highest level ever.

Dave Duncan’s most recent CD I’m Not Made of Stone was produced last year by Kevin McKendree in Franklin,TN.

All 11 songs on the recording are Duncan originals and the CD features musical guests including Delbert McClinton, Jack Pearson ( Allman Brothers) and Nashville’s sweetheart, Jonell Mosser.
