20 Aug 2007, 08:49 by haylemJust felt like posting the playlist used for the latest grill-night at home, thought it could be fun in a few years, as I won't be able to deny to my kids or grand-kids (if I ever have such "things") that I used to listen to bands like X, Y or Z and how old school I would seem to them.

9 Apr 2007, 01:55 by StealThisMomentI thought I should do this journal some justice and write about my favourite songs at the moment. For me to become properly obsessed with a song, obviously it has to be decent (to me, at least). But I also need to be able to draw some personal meaning from it. There has to be a part that I connect with, before I can fall in love with it. And it's because songs I can connect with help me so much though the crap times in my life.
I adore this song. I've had periods where I've sat with it on repeat for an hour. It's the most personal song I own at the moment, it will remind me of a small section of my life forever. It's simply perfect.
I wanted to believe in all the words that I was speaking
As we moved together in the dark
And all the friends that I was telling
All the playful mispellings
Every bite I gave you left a mark.
I'm sure so many teenagers say they can relate to this, and maybe I'm making up a number by saying this…

Step 2: Put it on random.
Step 2: Post the first lines from the first 40 songs that are played, not matter how embarassing.
Step 4: Bold out the songs when someone guesses both artist and track correctly.
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
