Das Oath have been controversially tearing up the hardcore scene for years, making themselves the ‘enfants terrible’ of their own scene! The band’s inception in 2000 started with the self-released first single on Youth Attack Records, Gloom Records and Coalition Records, who also recently released a discography CD of all their odd and nearly impossible to find vinyl material up to their debut album. Das Oath have constantly been pushing their own boundaries and their vision on punk, by subverting their art through their record covers and layouts.

I found the mini LP at my local music store and its the first Das Oath album ive seen, needless to say i bought it, and when i turned the case over i discovered this band is signed to...Dim Mak? im stoked about that because dim mak is an indie/electro label created by Steve Aoki. i guess battles is on dim mak too...who says record executives aren't diverse?
