Sorry for being political here, but I have to say this. Thank you President George W. Bush for taking the fight to the enemy(ies) of this country. You took a oath to protect this country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. You kept this country safe from those religious kooks. I wish I could vote for you again. Sorry again for being political.

Can we ever forget? Only a coward forgets the great sacrifice of those who have come before, and we can not ever forget! My friend paid for my freedom and for that I can never be thankful enough. Yes, if they bring the fight, WE WILL FINISH IT!

I think it would benefit us to forget. Instead of hate. Our hate has spread irrationally so that we demand disproportional reaction towards the wrong people.

So you're dumb enough to think that all these terrorist cells being found now are just made up to spread more fear, that makes a lot of sense dumbass. The media spreads enough fear no need to add even more. If you'd see that piece of shit country for yourself and realize the truth, well stick around long enough you may see it here, then you'll be the jackass with your fingers stuck in your ear wishing you could find God. As for your 99% of wars being based on anything, how the hell would you know you weren't around for all of them and the information posted out there about them is all from the media which is where your so called religion comes from that you don't follow. so do all of us a favor follow your food through its digestive system and when your almost finished with the cycle turn around and kiss your own ass, or you can do the opposite and pull your head out of it, your choice

  • Storm317

Wow I post that back in December.... I will say again. Go back to all the wars... 99% them was based of a belief system that two or more sides didn't agree on. Congrats on joining the military. Im sure you did it for one of 3 things... a family member did it, money, and/or to blow/kill stuff.

Frig you Storm, you homo. I just joined the US Army, and i love my country. This wasn't an inside job. Why don't you get the fuck out of the US if you don't like it. Oh and have fun burning in hell, if you don't have jesus.

Some people will believe anything. Iraq didn't attack us. This was an inside job. To spread the fear called Terrorism. Bush went to war against Iraq to get the oil and revenge his father's attack from Saddam's people. This war is the reason why I don't follow a religion. I understand you have different beliefs but to kill someone because they are a different religion is just stupid.

This country IS just looking for a fight. How else will we keep our countries' army in topfit? Also like someone else said "capitalizing on people's emotions = $$$" That's all these songs are and i doubt most of these country singers are THAT patriotic.

It is still a beautiful song

  • Rufus_blues_dog

I find the rhyming a little stretched on the chorus, but the verses really catch the sentiment of many people that exists to this day... whether we should be in Iraq and Afghanistan is a different question
