Biography

Darren Price is closely associated with the band Underworld whom he became acquainted with from his time with the Junior Boys Own label.

He initially supported their live tours as a DJ before becoming a full time member of their live set-up following the departure of Darren Emerson in 2000.

His first full length solo LP “Under the Flightpath” was released in 1997 on Novamute.

He should really release a new album with all dem live songs from like 2006+ like "Circus Faker", "Shake That Higher", and "Summer Days". Goddamnit Pricey~

I really don't understand why this guy has so few listeners. Today I took out his masterpiece album Underneath the Flightpath which I bought back in 1997. Still, after 10 years of dance music evolution, it is amongst the best techno albums ever released. Price has shaken off lots of the Underworld influences and has concentrated on creating his own unique athmospheric sound. Must listen now!
