Ha-ha!
You clicked my journal.
Sooo...
Let me tell you...
I've recently been to three concerts, where actually played eleven bands.
On 27th od December I've been to
Akrea!
Equilibrium!
Die Apokalyptischen Reiter!
And on Desember 30 we visited
Deadklock!
Swashbuckle!
Dark Tranquillity!
Caliban! And
Heaven Shall Burn!
Some more time ago I've been to
Bring Me the Horizon!
A Day To Remember! August Burns Red!
27. 12. 2009 Schreinachten, Postahlle, Würzburg
Akrea
Young, from Germany, ready to rock.
Thei were awesome, a lot of power and fun on stage.
Played some of their own songs, also a cover of Pursuit of the Vikings wich is originally by Amon Amarth.

Equilibrium
You have heard of them.
They had some problems with their sound, wich made their guitars and bass sound a little strange. But the preformance was all in all pretty good and catchy, they sure played their best songs. No experiments!
Later I was that lucy guy to find a Guitar-Pic that no one could catch!

[artrist]Die Apokalyptischen Reiter
One of the best folk bands ever, enormous power, about 2 hours of concert, not a second of rest. Great show, great songs they chose (like they played Eruption for the first time on a tour live) and a great audience. Thanks!

11. 11. 2009 DoppelKonzert, Der Hirsch, Nürnberg
August Burns Red
Wow! Power. Fun. Show. Brilliant!
From the Intro of White Washed to the very last no grace.
Was one of the most powerful concerts I've ever been to and one thing is sure: As soon as ABR come back to Germany, maybe as Headliner (*dream*): I'm there. Go and check out a August Burns Red concert near you!

A Day to Remember
Another aaaawesome show.
A lot of fuckin' fun and some real catchy songs. Just the beginning of The Downfall Of Us All was woth the whole entrance price I payed. But there was more, for the whole ADTR-Concert was brilliant!
And hell, yea! The drumstick came right to me. And I fuckin' got it.

Bring Me the Horizon
Gig was good, but surprisingly short. I mean - what? Thought they were headliner! I even had the feelingt they were like even playing a little shorter than ADTR. Wierd. But okay, the concert itself was quite cool, they opened up with Chelsea Smile.
At all an interessting concert, Oli wanted everybody to get up the stage. Was quite cool.

30. 12. 2009 Darkness Over X-Mas, LKA-Longhorn, Stuttgart
Deadlock
Deadlock! Cool. Really cool gig, they all had a whole lot of fun on stage, you really could feel. They played lots too shortm lots too short. Only five songs but these were brilliant! I would like to thank Deadlock for this demonstration of "Fun on Stage".
And also thanks to John, their bassist, for a a nice chat after the concerts!
I want to see these guys again - as soon as possible!

Swashbuckle
Well, Swashbuckle. I maily knew they were Pirates, their Vocalist ans Bass-Player was overweight and I din't like the music of the I checked out on youtube.
And so Swashbuckle was probably the biggest surprise of the night. Their bass-player has fingers like Speedy Gonzales, incredbible!
Their musical part was impressive, olny the voice disturbed me.
They should get another vocalist, their bass-player has enough to do anyway.

Dark Tranquillity
Woooha!
Another surprise.
I knew Dark Tranquillity and like them before. But that was a hell of a show!!
Mikael went into the audience, keeping on singin there, everybody was amazed. Dark Tranquillity really stoked me, they had a brilliant sound and all in all genius!
Good music, good ambience, you really saw and could kinda like feel how amazed the band was. Great. Real great. Bombastic-fantastic.

Caliban
Caliban is, along with Iron Maiden, my favourite Band. It may come as no surprise that I was real excited and yea... looking forward to that concert. And all the waiting was god damned fuckin worth it. Caliban entered and ruled the stage like I've never seen before. With fireworks, an amazing Intro and a great setlist they domineted that hall. Andy was wide awake - I'm writing that because we had met him right in front of the hall about 1 1/2 hours before the concert, when he told us he had just slept in the bus and is still kinde strange. But he signed my Caliban-Shirt. And since he was - as I just said - wide awake on stage I could forgive. The whole band ripped the stage and the audience was in. Very active. A bombastic Wall of Death. And somehow, somewhere I got injured at the arm, it's not deep or hurting but ugly.
Caliban was, is and will be on the tops of my charts. That was enomous. I can't wait for seeing them again at Wacken Open Air. Hope for another concert somewhere here soon.
After the concert we met Marc, their Guitar-Player at the merch. He was pretty damn cool. I've got some pics with him and another signing. Braaah!
Mark: I'd give a 1+ / an A+ but acutally that can't properly describe my feelings for this concert. Caliban, I fucking love you guys.
Heaven Shall Burn
The next bomb in the Line-Up, Heaven Shall fucking Burn!
There are no words to describe a Heaven Shall Burn concert. Power like Atombombs, maybe. Marcus was dressed in comnplete white wich was... a little wierd or something. Later he nearly completely undressed.
From the first (Counterweight) to the last (Black Tears) song it was amazing to watch the guy preform and dominate. Bombastic. As I said before about some bands: As soon as there's any chance to see these guys again, I'll take it.
Brilliant!!
Mark: They actually were also too good for a normal mark. But a 1+ / A+ will do it.
Also: Thanks to all bands in Stuttgart for not-turning the volume up so brutal high. Was good so!
