Actively touring Ukraine, U.K and Russia this Ukrainian/English duo never fails to grab and keep the attention of all kinds of audiences with their breathtakingly delicious musical cocktail.
Dark Patrick combine vituoso playing on the Hurdy-Gurdy, Bandura, Uilleann Pipes, Whistles and Blues Harp with electronic sounds, atmospheric pads, effects and rhythms. This extraordinary phantasmagoric mix of musical styles is accompanied by spoken word and hypnotic haunting vocals in English and Irish Languages.

Thanks to folklore expeditions in the Carpathian mountains, and study of Celtic music and mythology Dark Patrick have developed their own style influenced by aspects of both of these musical traditions . Folklore was the inspiration behind the forming of the duet in 2003, and in 2009 Dark Patrick released their debut album, “Fainne Gael an Lae” ( in English ”The Dawning of the Day”) , consisting of their own arrangements of Celtic and Ukrainian melodies and songs. After the release of their first Album their style changed dramatically and their professionalism continues to grow.

Dark Patrick’s music is original, full of surprises and shockingly beautiful. Audiences talk about it with wonder and awe, stating, that it is absolutely new and original and hard to place under any certain genre category. Concerts are reminiscent of mystical, magical, rites, totally enthralling audiences from the very first chord to the end of the performance.
