Born in Macedonia in the late 70´s, Nikolce Vasilevski, alias Dark Machines, started to make and play music at the age of 11, with a computer and a Yamaha synth.
In 1992, after having achieved his first complete tracks influenced by U96, The Prodigy, 2Unlimited etc, he started to make Trance, Goa and ambient, break beat and finally come to DNB in 1995. At that time, he was influenced mostly by Astral Projection, Etnica, Renegade Soundwave, Chrystal Method, BT and others….; and, meanwhile, experienced djing on small parties and clubs for fun.

The first big project, he worked on was with TOCIJAN, with whom he produced an album of « breakbeat electro tranced style » songs from 2002 to 2003.
Because the DNB is giving him the widest experimenting field than every other style, he decided to make a DNB album based on guitars, mix of DNB, blues, jazz etc…with RUBIN, a great guitarist from the band T&R.

Moreover, Dark Machines had the opportunity to exchange experiences with American dj´s and producers during his stay in Miami in 2005.
As soon as he returned from the US, he had a project of four psy trance tracks with dj Miss Triptamina and worked with Macedonian artists such as Aphrodisia, Proteus, and baseK.
