What I personally don't like with "Time Does Not Heal" is the structuring. I mean, I love the riffing and there certainly are a whole lot of them, but I just don't like the songs' structures. I guess I'm just more into patterns and stuff, like the songs on Darkness Descends where riffs play important roles. To me, that also makes riffs more significant and powerful.

Good to see the love for Doty's vocals, Darkness Descends is by far the bands best. Looking at the charts here, it's listened to three times as much as the Rinehart albums, can't help but think they reformed with the wrong guy!
"Darkness Descends" is the ultimate thrash album when it comes to speed. It has lenghty songs and still keeps the speed pounding throughout, unlike "Reign In Blood" which basically, to me at least, partly sounds like 3-4 minute long songs played too fast for their own good. I think D.D. manages to keep the songs sound natural at their full speed in comparison. It's thrash/speed metal at its finest!
I wouldn't really give two fucks if the original members weren't in the band or not. Just hearing Doty and a competent group of musicians play DA songs would be fucking incredible. Hoglan can suck a dick and go back to sulking up his legacy playing for the band
