Dariush Tala’i

Born in 1953 in Iran, he studied Persian music with masters of the Radif.[1] His teachers include Tar player Ali Akbar Shahnazi, Nur Ali Borumand with whom he studied Musical radif and old compositions, as well as youssef Forutan and Abdollah Davami, with whom he studied Setar and vocal techniques and repertories.

Master Talai taught at the University of Tehran,[2] University of Sorbonne-Paris, University of Washington-Seatlle and was awarded a number of major prizes for his contribution to Persian Art Music. His collaboration with artists such as Maurice Béjart, Carolyn Carlson, Michel Portal.

Shahram Nazeri

Shahram Nazeri (Persian:شهرام ناظری, Kurdish: Şehram Nazirî ) is a contemporary Iranian tenor of Kurdish ancestry who sings classical Persian music from Kermanshah. He is one of Iran’s most respected vocalists. He has been accompanied by some of the authorities of Persian traditional music such as Jalil Shahnaz, Alizadeh, Jalal Zolfonoun, Payvar.
