Danse Macabre, a folk-rock-pop cabaret band from South-East England, performed regularly around London and beyond between 2007 and 2010. In 2011 the band reformed under the new name of Haunted Honeymoon.
Danse Macabre’s band’s songs, characterised by bright tunes and bittersweet lyrics, have been described as folk-goth, quirky pop and even progressive rock. Danse Macabre released their only EP, The Golden Age of Ballooning in October 2008 and the CD single Worcestershire Sauce in May 2010 on the band’s own Prozakville Records label.
