Biography

Danny Donuts is a CPA, (Comic Performance Artist) who writes and performs music comedy parodies and original songs. Danny was born in Ottawa, Illinois and grew up admiring “Weird Al” Yankovic. “The Blues Brothers” led him to discover the great Chicago Blues scene and Chicago’s “Beatlefest” (now The Fest For Beatles Fans) turned him onto the vital Beatles scene. Danny first performed at Beatlefest in 1997 and is now a regular contributor to the annual Fest. Terri Hemmert, DJ on WXRT- Chicago gave Danny his first radio airplay in 2003 with “Lucy Is Disguised As Linus” on her Beatles marathon, “Rampant Beatlemania”. He has also gotten airplay on the nationally syndicated Dr. Demento show and other Chicago radio stations. Danny released two Christmas music comedy CD’s, “Wacky Winterland” in 2005 and “Crabby Road” in 2009. His website is DannyDonuts.com
