Germany (2011 – present)

Daniele Negroni (born 31st of July, 1995 in Arona, Italy) is a German singer of Italian descent who has participated in the 9th season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” in 2012. The final was held on the 28th of April, 2012. Daniele managed to achieve the 2nd place, having received 47,15% of the overall votes from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before attending DSDS in 2011 he has worked as a cook in Regensburg but has however ended his professional career to realize his desire on becoming an artist. At the age of 13 Daniele started drinking, smoking and stealing. Until applying to DSDS Daniele has, due to causing problems, lived in a youth dormitory, but has now moved back to his family’s home in Regensburg. His first single Don’t Think About Me was released on 28th of April, 2012 via multiple online music download platforms and has temporarily reached #1 in the German iTunes single charts.

    Still prefer Daniele's version over Luca's version. I like Daniele's voice and Luca's English is sometimes kind of hard to understand to be honest... Daniele and Jesse were my superstars this year.
