Daniel Kerr, AKA Sauce, grew up in Flint, MI. He started making electronic music in 1989, when he ended up a keyboard player in a band instead of a guitarist, as originally planned. He hooked up with Taiwanese engineer Ching-Hwa Yu in 1990, created Futureshock, and started releasing hard, acidy Techno in Detroit, Flint and Chicago. Daniel joined electronic wizard Michael Absher after the dissolve of Futureshock. He became a member of SSG, a Flint-based, live, improv-electronica project. The band played an hour-long radio show, once a month, for the next 4 1/2 years on Flint-based WFBE 95.1 FM.

In 1994, the group Metal Box with Michael Ford was founded. They began experimenting heavily with granular synthesis, object-oriented programming languages and the first birth pangs of IDM and glitch. The duo made a musical model of a fractal, the first in history.

Daniel turned toward playing rave-oriented “mixed” live shows in 1997, as opposed to previously playing concert-based material. He began playing heavily throughout the midwest, and settled in Omaha.

Sauce moved to Taos, New Mexico in 2003. He was introduced to the outdoor, desert, psy-trance scene, which totally changed his life and his perception of the functions of music. He began to understand what it means to guide a dancer/listener/participant into a deeper understanding and physical communion with music.

After many years performing and recording, in 2009, Daniel had a major spiritual experience and devoted his life to Jesus Christ.
