It was only a matter of time! Blue Canoe Records artists Dan Baraszu and Joseph Patrick moore have collaborated on work for each other and for other artists for years. The chemistry between them is unmistakable - and finally, a collaborative effort has arrived that features both Dan’s masterful guitar work and the genius of Joseph’s bass and production work. Both musicians share a special gift and love for jazz. Both have made careers of writing creative, contemporary jazz music and interpreting the music of others in a jazz context. Now, the two join forces in a special interpretation of Christmas standards in a contemporary voice blended from their two unique, individual voices.

The independent nature of both artists brought them to Blue Canoe Records where they had the freedom to create together and form musical connections that are obvious to anyone listening to their work. As a duo, the generous nature of both musicians produces a conversation of melody that is synergistically greater than the sum of the parts. Together, these musicians have released more than 8 solo albums, countless group projects and have worked with the likes of Bill Anschell, Phillip Harper, Ike Stubblefield, Adam Nitti, Blueground Undergrass, Carol Channing, Col. Bruce Hampton, Derek Trucks, Doug Wamble, James Williams, Jimmy Herring, Jon Phishman, Leo Neocentelli, Oteil Burbridge to name a few. Currently, both artists reside in the Atlanta, GA area.
