  • perfect collab!
  • mick karn's glorious bass
  • I'm speechless, too. I've been a Peter Murphy fan for a very long time but never knew about this project. I'm listening to it on Spotify right now and it's utterly majestic. The 1984 and 2012 albums are so seamless that I honestly didn't know they were two different ones released nearly 30 years apart. I had to look closer to even notice. Unbelievable talent and an instant favorite!

InGladAloneness in some ways picks up right where the first one leaves off, Peter’s voice is eerily youthful as though recorded back then and stored away till now .. but what Jansen brings to the table is very distinct, and in many ways creates a brand new sound. It is both obviously Dalis Car, and yet much more so reminiscent of Japan than The Waking Hour ever was. As sad as it is for me, tends to leave me somewhat hopeful and upbeat.
  • Just got my copy of the new EP and I'm loving it - more prog than the last album, perhaps more reflective of Mick's solo work. RIP Mick, this is a lovely thing to leave us with. Also, my copy was signed by Steve Jansen which made me ultrahappy =)
