Dakota is the name of at least three groups, one of which is also an alias for well known Trance producer Markus Schulz.

The other is the name of a band hailing from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England. The band consits of Ben Talbot (vocals, guitar and keys), Aaron Whelan (guitar), Tom Davison (bass) and Rob Armitage (drums). They released their first single ‘Wild Child’ on 13 July 2009 through Genuine Records and Right Track Distribution/Universal Music.

‘Wild Child’ is the first release from Dakota’s debut album, ‘Here, There and Everywhere’.
