Daisyhead & the Mooncrickets was a musical project of Dax Riggs in 1997 that never took off. Only two recordings are known to exist. One is a self-titled 14-track recording, Daisyhead & the Mooncrickets, where most of the songs are cut off before they end. A few covers are included, such as David Bowie’s “Ziggy Stardust”.   • I asked him about this when he came to portland in 2010, he said the album was recorded on a little 4 track recorder, and he believed the longer album was something that had been recorded without his knowledge/approval. Regardless of where it was recorded, it's all amazing.
