Da Lench Mob

Da Lench Mob were a group who first appeared on Ice Cube’s debut album “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted”. Da Lench Mob (Shorty, J-Dee, and T-Bone) struck out on their own, with Ice Cube as their executive producer, in 1992.

Da Lench Mob’s debut album, “Guerillas In Tha Mist”, was a fiery burst of and trademark rhythms. The video for the album’s lead single, also titled “Guerillas In Tha Mist”, became quite popular in the fall of 1992. The album alluded to the social atmosphere and racial tension that was ignited during the 1992 Los Angeles riots.

J-Dee was sentenced to life in prison for attempted murder in 1993, and was dropped by the record label. Instead of disbanding, an Oakland based rapper called Maulkie was bought in to replace J-Dee for the groups sophomore effort, “Planet of da Apes”, released in 1994. The group broke up very soon afterwards.

Their song “Guerillas In Tha Mist” was featured on the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas soundtrack, on the station Radio Los Santos.

The group hasn’t actually broken up, it is said that they plan on working on a new album. J-Dee is also probably to be released in a few years.

I'm not ashamed of being white, and I'm still not offended by the racism in these songs. Anyone who's offended by these lyrics obviously hasn't spent much time in white middle America. A few years ago I had to move to a small lily white conservative town, and these hicks are hostile hate-filled scumfuck mutants who barely qualify as human. These are the types who 5 percenters are referring to when they talk about whites being "the devil". Plus, I listen to nazi metal too, so it all evens out.

ladykiller989: Stop crying, this is just music. Not to mention this was made 18 years ago and they might have changed their views. And obviously the main reason I listen is because I just can't stop laughing at the over the top racism in the songs.

Lord Have Mercy might as well been an Above the Law track... Perhaps Cube wrote all the ATL tracks too so there might be something to that.
