Since 1999, DJ VENOM has been making his presence known locally and globally. He began DJing during his freshman year at his alma mater St. John’s University in Queens, New York. VENOM organized, promoted and deejayed his own events at venues native to his alma mater. In 2005, VENOM began deejaying for CIN Productions, one of the Tri-State’s largest event promotion companies. He played nightclubs such as the legendary Copacabana, EXIT, Crobar, Deep and others. He was able to deejay alongside some of New York’s biggest DJs and world famous recording artists such as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel, Hector El Bambino, Yaga & Makcie, Boy Wonder, Nicky Jam, Ivy Queen, Jowell & Randy, Zion & Lennox, De La Ghetto, DJ Nelson, Luny Tunes, Get Low, Andy Boy, 50 Cent, Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Tony Sunshine, Jim Jones, Swizz Beatz, DMX, Cassidy, Notch, T.O.K, Mr. Vegas, Kevin Lyttle, Elephant Man, and many others.
In 2006, VENOM took a break to focus on a career in the Music Recording, TV and Film industries. Since then, he produced several music videos and signed on as co-manager of the platinum selling Bachata group Xtreme. He produced and edited Bow Wow and Omarion’s DVD for their collaboration album “Face Off”. He filmed MTV’s rapper battle show, “Monday Night Fight Klub”, and created “Reggaeton Rush Hour”, a music video show which premiered on BET Networks in 2006 as the first ever Latino show on the network with an audience of over 9 million. With his strides in these industries, VENOM launched Digital Tune Worldwide Entertainment Group, a multimedia company providing services such as music and video production, marketing and graphic design.
In 2008, VENOM came back to the NYC nightclub scene with a vengeance, spinning at the most popular spots in the city. From Home, Guesthouse, Suzie Wongs and Mansion in the “Bottle District” to huge venues such as Providence and Pranna. In June 2009, VENOM started a mixtape series called “This Is My House”, focusing on the music genre of Electro House. The 1st volume of the series was hosted by recording artist, Pitbull.
In 2010, after receiving much acclaim from the mixtape, VENOM was able to travel to Brussels and DJ at the famous Fiesta Club, Saponeria nightclub in Rome and Falcon nightclub in Los Angeles. VENOM signed to AV8 Records, a world famous label that distributes remixes of the world’s most well known remixers and producers. His remixes are downloaded and streamed daily all over the world by fans of his work. In July 2010, VENOM released the 2nd volume to his “This Is My House” mixtape series which was hosted by recording artist Lil Jon.
Late in 2011, VENOM released his 3rd volume to the “This Is My House” mixtape series, which was hosted by Flo Rida. The mixtape is currently on more then 20 of the most popular mixtape websites with downloads from listeners all over the world.
