A foetus album can be seen on the back cover...not sure why, but I thought that was pretty neat.

This album makes for the weirdest deja vus. Every now and then I am listening to an interview/record/radio-show/whatever and something Shadow sampled comes on. It usually takes me a while to pin point it to this album, so I'm left clueless for quite some time, wondering if I'm going insane. And that's just one of the reasons why I love this record so much.

Absolutely legendary album as far as trip-hop goes. Probably Shadow's best. I can l listen to it every day and this stuff never gets old. So much variety and atmosphere. Pure relax putted into the music

The 90's had a ton of fantastic music, but this might be the album from that decade I still listen to the most.

Itunes deluxe version (i didn't check the retail version though) is compressed as fuck (you can feel the loss of energy in the breakbeats). If you can, avoid that.
