This album is how I discovered Krush and it was pretty much only by chance. In 2000 one of the local record stores in my home town in Boise was going out of business so had a big sale on CDs. I went in with something like 200$ and just picked up CDs from groups I liked but also just browsed for albums that looked interesting. Saw the cover of Kakusei and thought it was interesting with the snow and I asked one of the employees what type of music it was. They told me I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't, and from then on I'm forever a Krush fan. Other than Premier he is my favorite DJ ever, and Kakusei is still one of my favorite albums ever.
