Based out of Port Arthur, Texas, DJ DMD and The Inner Soul Clique was a hip-hop group that consisted of DJ DMD and rappers from Port Arthur. Rappers included Bull, Lee Masta, Al D, Bro. Joseph Muhammad, Momo, Bluelite, Lil Wink, Laboo, Superb Herb, Supa Kush, Mr. Lowdown, “Big” Reggie Cooper, Lil World, Big Nate, Qb, Big Mitch, and Boonie Loc. DJ DMD and The Inner Soul Clique released two albums, “Eleven” in 1997 and “Twenty-Two: P.A. World Wide” in 1998. Both albums are entirely influenced by the Texas hip-hop scene at the time, other artists who were featured on the albums include UGK, DJ Screw and various artists of the infamous Screwed Up Click.
