Teesside (2005 – 2009)

DARTZ! were William K. J. Anderson (bass and vocals), Henry J. Carden (guitar) and Philip J. Maughan (drums and vocals). They formed in Teesside, North East England (UK) at the beginning of 2005 and have since gone on to play literally hundreds of gigs all over Europe - touring with the likes of Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Hot Club De Paris, I Was A Cub Scout, The Rumble Strips and The Research along the way; as well as sharing stages with everybody from Melt Banana to The Futureheads to Make Believe to Badly Drawn Boy. However, they announced they were to call it a day on July 2nd 2009.

Their debut album This Is My Ship was released in the UK on Xtra Mile Recordings on 12th February 2007, and has recently been released in North America via the legendary Deep Elm label.
An 8-track mini-album, The Sad History Of The Village Of Alnerique, was released on 22nd September 2008 in the UK on Xtra Mile.
