Biography

Détente was a political oriented thrash band from the mid 1980’s. Their “Recognize No Authority” (1986 Metal Blade records) is a classic piece of 80’s thrash. Détente was widely known for their vocalist Dawn Crosby’s high pitched angry vocals. The band only released one album and then split up. Vocalist Dawn Crosby went on to form another group Fear of God. Dawn Crosby died in 1996 of liver failure.
