I understand why people didn't like this album as much, as it was a fairly large departure from their previous fare. The songs seemed a bit more candylike and melodic than Doppleganger. That being said, it was my favorite album, and still lingers in my top 10 of all time. I love Curve's style.

unfairly rated when it came out, which unfortunately for them was within months of a new Garbage album. To its credit, they went a lot harder on this album than Butch Vig ever intended his band to go. End result: some parts sound dated, even though Chinese Burn, Dog Bone, Cotton Candy and Recovery are still slick as ever.

I'd have to agree with all the comparisons to Garbage. Definitely a similar sound and it sounds Vig got the sound for the band from Curve.

A decent enough album but it does sound a bit dated in places (some of the beats are very 90s...). I played it to death back in the day.
