Cultura Profética is a Puerto Rican reggae roots band. Formed in 1996, they stand out as one of the most influential bands in Latin America, touring extensively in the biggest venues of the continent. This band with eight albums independently released, is composed of 12 musicians that achieve an excellent and very sticky musical fusion, with a base headed by a rhythm of traditional roots reggae mixed with harmonies of salsa, jazz, electronica, trip hop, ska, and afro-caribbean rhythms, amongst others. Their songs are lyrically inspirational and poetic, raising their voices on socio-political, cultural and environmental issues. Cultura Profética achieves a very peculiar sound that has been admired by many artists, musicians, engineers and the biggest exponents in the international reggae scene. Each band member has very solid musical skills that allow them as a group to carry out very sophisticated works of art.

They have released eight albums so far:
Canción de alerta (1998)
Ideas nuevas (1999)
Cultura en vivo (2000)
Diario (2002)
M.O.T.A. (2005)
Tribute To The Legend Bob Marley (CD+DVD) (2007)
La dulzura (2010)
15 Aniversario en el Luna Park (CD+DVD) (2012)
