Biography

A four-piece band from Derry in Northern Ireland. Signed to Geffen and released their debut and only album ‘Breathing Lessons’ in 1998. The quartet released three singles off the album, ‘Non-Sequitur’, ‘Blackmail’ and ‘What’s It All About’ which did moderately well in their native Ireland.

In 1999, the original line up changed somewhat and despite a ferocious live show the band disappeared off the radar and assumedly disbanded, much to the detriment of Irish rock music.

Currently members can be heard playing in Jetplane Landing.

There are at least three cuckoo: an irish musician and two bands from Italy and Japan. The irish and the italians are here on this page, indivisible, but about the japanese band, if you can/want use japanese writing, you can fix your tags using the correct name カッコー.

There's a confusion since there are more than one CUCKOO out there. But specifically this is confusing since this CUCKOO is using my image. For now I'm calling myself CUCKOO (Andreas Paleologos) http://www.last.fm/music/Cuckoo+%28Andreas+Paleologos%29

Brilliant band. Got to see them play a few times in Ireland back inthe late 90s. If anyone has any early demos etc, please get in touch with me cos I'd love to get some of the stuff pre-Breathing Lessons. Cheers.
