I ´ve read an interpretation of this song on a lyrics page and it´s the best interpretation i have ever read!! Read and suck it in!: "Interpretation: Death is unavoidable. Everything changes, constantly. What forms appear to exist now, in time, will be gone. This song is written from a timeless perspective: "time" itself, as we know it, is merely another impermanent form. Considering that, you are already dead, every form that you think exists now, being held in your hand, is already gone. Those who see the world in this way, black eyes full of stars, are few and far between. It's a trance of sorrow from which springs infinite joy."

If ever face an apocalypse, the end of the world and get the chance to experience it while listening to a song... Like Tears In Rain will be that song.

I feel like I'm dancing to sadness, it must be an ambiguous feeling, because the song's sad, but I'm dancing to it in my chair. It makes me feel sad. Even the background music is sad (but danceable because of the kind of music it is). Still, I can't stand the idea of "everything being lost," but this is a feeling everybody gets at times.

When I first started getting into this music, a friend showed me this song. I didn't take it on board as much until quite a while after. Now listening more and understanding the lyrics, I imagine my friend shown me this song, rather than the others, for a reason. It's quite an emotional connection now, this song is really depressing. I don't listen to it when I'm sad...
