Version 13

1. Covenant is a band from Sweden that has furthered electronic body music (“EBM” - pioneered in the 80’s by the likes of Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb), futurepop, and synth pop since the early 1990s.

Covenant is preparing a European tour to promote its sixth studio album, Skyshaper. Skyshaper had its European release on 2006 March 3 and an American release on 2006 March 7.

They are not to be confused with the Norwegian industrial metal band The Kovenant; who changed their name from Covenant to The Kovenant in 1998 following a lawsuit from the Swedish Covenant.

Covenant is also the name of the progressive rock project of Dave Gryder, ex-drummer of metal band Rotting Corpse. So far, he has released one album under the Covenant moniker: 1992’s Nature’s Divine Reflection, on which he plays all the keyboards and drums.

2. THE KOVENANT is a Norwegian band which has evolved from symphonic black metal to industrial metal on more recent albums. The band was originally known as COVENANT, but due to a dispute with the Swedish electro band that shared the same name (see Covenant), it was later changed to The Kovenant.

3. Covenant is a Christian rock band from Worcester, Massachusetts. www.covenantrock.net;
