i love this band i love this song this is more than mainstream so if you dont like it dont try to understand it. Read SourDaisy's message and you will understand you cant build walls in Music.

Perhaps, but deathrock can't be categorized as simple gothic punk can it? Even for contemporary bands. The deathrock nearest and dearest to my heart follows in the line of all those old schoolers - Mephisto Walz, Ex-Voto, Burning Image - who birthed what we have here. We aren't some punk sub-genre. We're something else. And it's older deeper and more long wearing than any offshoot will ever be.

I wouldn't really call these guys deathrock, they don't have much of a punk sound to 'em.

yeah kinda...but only in this song. Peter Murphy would be a better comparison overall....anyway Sebastien has his own very nice timbre.
