First, it's perfectly possible to arrange albums by surname and tracks by forename. Secondly, if people vote here for "Arcangelo Corelli" as the correct form, then this page will eventually redirect there. The problem lies with the stubborn adolescents who vote for this as the correct form -- and nothing can be done about them, as they're impervious to reason.

right, this isn't an index, but it's linked to an index, i.e. to my media player (amarok) where i'd prefer not to arrange my collection according to forenames... surely it shouldn't be too difficult to place some redirections or something like that?!

I don't know what Shrink125 means by correct, but on any normal usage of the term, he's wrong. Corelli, Arcangelo is how you'd find the name in an index, but this isn't an index. The man's name was Arcangelo Corelli, and that's how his name should be given. Look at LPs, CDs, book titles, etc.; does any of them say Corelli, Arcangelo?

Won't this be merged with the official Corelli page?

Ooops, the tag I'm having rejected is Corelli, Arcangelo. The idiot below is still a wanker.

This sucks, you are prepared to accept Corelli as a valid tag , but not Crelli, Arcangelo, which is the correct way to tag classical composers. You guys really need to wake up! As to the comment below, it was obviously made by some illiterate wanker.
