Biography
Amsterdam, the Netherlands (1999 – 2010)
Coparck (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) has been around since 1999, unleashing their mix of melodic, eclectic indie-pop. ‘A jazzed-up post-rocking city view’ layered with samples and old synthesizer sounds. With influences ranging from Beck, Blur and The Beatles to Ben Folds Five, Bacharach and Bach. God Dress America and the uplifting
You Will Fall are just a few of the highlights on the album. The magazine-like booklet coming with the album is a compilation of 12 photographs by talented Dutch artists and photographers and 12 little stories accompanying the 12 songs. You’ll also find all the lyrics in the back of the booklet. This whole Coparck magazine has been compiled and written by Girod, feeding the listener with images and words.
