  • It's 2/15/2015. What does that mean? It's Conor's birthday, WOOHOO! Happy birthday!!!
  • New album is very good.
  • "Upside Down Mountain" is a fantastic album. I'm a massive Conor Oberst fan but The Peoples Key and Outer South were somewhat letdowns. Yet, the his latest album is great and should also be welcomed by everyone who still longs for the "older" Bright Eyes sound. "Artifact #1" has the Emo-feel to it, "Lonely at the Top" is a Lifted-throwback, "Night at Lake Unknown" sounds like right off of Cassadaga (just listen to the background vocals, flute arrangement and the chord progression at the very end), so does "Commom Knowledge", "You are your Mothers Child" reminds me of songs like "Lua", "Desert Island Questionaire" could've appeared on "Fevers&Mirrors" or something. And lines like "Most anything can be forgiven, with what is left we'll have to live" just wait to get tattooed on some Teenagers wrist. There's so many musical references to the older stuff but everything together feels fresh and great. What more could you ask for?
