When OK Conifer first appeared in 2010, it electrified an America still recovering from the Great Recesssion. Driven from their conifer farm by the encroachment of large agricultural interests, the unnamed protagonist sets out, like generatons before him, to the promised land of Alberta. As he travels across the country, joined by countless other unwilling migrants, the protagonist confronts the naked realities of an America divided into Conifers and Broadleaves.

Composed with passionate conviction, OK Conifer is an unforgettable panorama of an era and a bold dramatization of the plight of the dispossessed everywhere.
