Twenty-five year old Colin Armstrong is a native San Diegan but currently lives in LA furthering his music careeer. At the age of twenty-one Colin’s first break came when he won the “BE A STAR” contest hosted by Ryan Seacrest on the LA area radio station STAR 98.7 FM. The win landed him a development deal with Hollywood Records and $10,000. Since then, Colin has continued to write and record his music for his debut LP out later this year. In 2005, Colin’s song “Lonely Fall” (availible on the new LP) won Best Male Vocal and Best Song at the Orange County Music Awards. In addition to finishing his debut album, Colin has also collaborated on songs with Suzie McNeil, who was a finalist on the CBS reality show “Rockstar INXS”. Colin’s dynamic vocals and honest lyrics have been compared to everything from the Beatles to Peter Gabriel to John Mayer. (From his MySpace)
