About this album
Prospekt’s March is an EP by English alternative rock band Coldplay, released on 21 November 2008.
Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, announced the release of the EP during an interview with Steve Lamacq and R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe on 31 August 2008.
The EP features several tracks left over from the studio sessions for Coldplay’s fourth studio album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends.
It’s also available in the deluxe edition of that album.
The cover features Eugène Delacroix’s painting Battle of Poitiers, similar to the cover art for Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends.
