I really like their albums prior to this, and this album IS completely different, but I love it. I can see why people might be angry about the more polished sound - I've felt that way about countless other bands that I thought were selling out, but I really think this is a great album.

I don't know why this album is getting so much hate. Cold War Kids have always been a very talented and creative band but for me personally, there was something missing from their two previous albums. Cohesion? A clear sense of purpose? I don't know what it was, but Mine Is Yours definitely has it. Selling out? I don't think so. Bands change, it's a fact of life. As a casual listener of CWK, this is my favorite album by them so far. Maybe it's a CWK album for non-CWK fans. I don't care. It's still one of my favorites from this year.

The music business and ugly pop scene has grabbed ahold of their balls and turned them into polished singing pussies. Harsh, maybe, but mostly true. There are possibly 2 decent Cold War Kids' songs on their new Mine Is Yours album and the rest are all just tracks produced to appeal to the unintelligent half of their fans, and to attract more idiots who like shittty pop. if you liked robbers and cowards so much buy it again on itunes. this is different but just as good to me.

I got this album as soon as it came out, as I've been obsessed with this band ever since Robbers & Cowards. And of course since being conditioned by that that unique, raw industrial soundscape, I was thoroughly disappointed with Mine Is Yours. I thought it was very commercial sellout sound. I have recently however picked this album up again and it's hooked me on a few gems. Broken Open, Sensitive Kid and Finally Begin stand out for me in particular. Certainly worth a listen, but not as addictive and Robbers & Cowards.

king of leons in the ends try more melodic and poppy approach and gives them variation.while you guys on the other hand it gives you hinderance.A DISSAPONTING ALBUM, but im still gonna listen to it.PLEASE BE POINTY AND GRIEF AGAIN PLEASE
