damn this is beautiful. i played it so much back in '06 it was my 3rd most played song. sounds even better today with the bittersweet memories it evokes. really wish they'd have given us more ballads like this.

It's funny, I've always loved this track since the first time I listened to it. It's been a song that I felt was so emotional and raw, but never a song that I could feel and apply to my life. A female friend of mine who I care deeply for and have experienced some unrequited love has been going though some hard times as of late, and I'd do anything to change that. For some reason the lyrics and tone of the song really got me today -- but that's how you know you're alive and human, right? Caring and loving someone so much that a mere song can bring you to a sopping puddle of emotion?
