Musical Background:
I started taking classical piano lessons when I was 8 years old. After I passed my last exam at the age of 16, I auditioned at the conservatory. But since I was still in high school, I couldn’t start taking classes at the conservatory on a full time basis yet so I first took two years of ‘pre school’ and after I had finished my high school I started taking classes fulltime at the classical piano department. After two years I decided to switch to the pop department of the conservatory in Rotterdam from which I graduated in 2007.

I played in several bands throughout those years, not only as a keyboard player but also as a drummer, guitar player and bass player. I actually played one gig with After Forever to substitute Jack after he left the band.
