After spending months in the studio, the Codi Jordan debut album “Vacation” was finally completed in Nov. 2008, and is receiving rave reviews from fans and industry professionals alike. Utah Radio stations such as 97.5 the blaze, X96 Alternative have rotated Codi on there Local music programs. 97.5 The Blaze DJ “Big Rog” hand picked the CJB to play a Blaze sponsored event in 2008 which regularly showcases Utahs brightest up and comers. The CJB was also hand picked perform at the 1st annual Park City Roots Rock Reggae Fest which saw the band sharing the stage with some of the biggest touring acts nationally in the Genre. Also the Band was hand picked to open for the Expendables at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas for the American Ski Industries official after party sponsored by Decente North America. Local College radio station 88.1 WeberFM of Ogden UT awarded the album “Vacation” with LOCAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR for 2008. Idependently Codi and crew have been able to land CDs in all of Utahs major indie record stores, all Best Buys from Boise to Las Vegas, and are seeing consistent sales on Itunes, and Amazon. The band has also landed sponsorships from Powder Mountain Utah, Honest Tea, Vitamin Water, and Skull Candy. With over 30,000 friends on myspace and over 250,000 plays the music fan base is defiantly growing . CD sales and downloads are exceeding everyone’s expectations the songs go right into the public’s heart as the music spreads. The Codi Jordan Band (CJB) has been selling out venues in Utah, Nevada, California, and Idaho, and will be coming soon to an area near you!
