About this album

Following Brian Eno’s time in Berlin making David Bowie’s albums Low and “Heroes”, he made Cluster & Eno (1977), originally released by German label Sky, with Dieter Moebius, Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Conny Plank - an intensely pretty collection of miniature, naturalistic symphonies and fragile mood pieces. The music of Cluster and Eno is characterised by beautiful harmony in organic patterns of evolving repetivity. It isn’t ambient music though it is gentle. It’s very engrossing.
