    except unlike Mars Volta, their "crazy" sections where the guitar riffs go all over the place are far FAR more structured. And varied. The Mars Volta crazy riffs are awsome, but they are also pretty much the same type of sound over and over again (playing a riff like its being played backwards. Or just playing it backwards).

    Less like Fall of Troy (actual vocals and no nonsense yelling or screaming.), more like The Mars Volta. Period. My first thoughts were "Oh, a Mars Volta album I don't have".

    It sounds like The Mars Volta but if you listen to the rest of this album you can tell that this has Closure in Moscow written all over it. I've seen them live 3 times and talked to them every time and they never really cite TMV as an influence. They mostly talk about Alexisonfire, The Fall of Troy, and their Aussie friends.
