CLIPE SEXO AMADOR is something a bit left of centre, a bit quirky, curious and intriguing. Under the pseudonym of CLIPE, Jamie Dodd; a sound technology graduate originally wrote and performed everything alone before recruiting hometown friend Liam Hannan and Essex raised Chris Dashwood, who formerly made up half of the York based ‘Carnival Kids’, to join him.
Describing their sound as ‘Lo-Fi Casio Guitar Pop’ the CSA trio are making a name for themselves through their live performances which have so far impressed the onlookers at ‘In The City’, ‘Liverpool Music Week’, ‘Liverpool Sound City’ and trendy electro club night ‘Evol’.
Having now relocated down to the big smoke where Jamie is to open a studio, CLIPE SEXO AMADOR will be performing in London in the latter half of this year with new material to be released by September.
All the cool kids like it. So should you. They used it on Hollyoaks bizarrely enough.
