The song debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, and is the fastest-selling single of 2014 so far, and the highest selling January single since “Spaceman” by Babylon Zoo, which reached number one in 1996. The song has spent four weeks at number one, selling over 977,000 copies since release.

The song was written by Jack Patterson (a member of Clean Bandit), James Napier, and Nicole Marshall, and produced by Grace Chatto (another member of Clean Bandit) and Jack Patterson.

It reached #1 in Australia (dance charts), Austria, Belgium (digital sales charts), Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Scotland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

It peaked at #2 in Australia, the Flanders region of Belgium, the Wallonia region of Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg (digital sales charts), New Zealand, and Switzerland, #3 in the Wallonia region of Belgium and Slovakia, #4 in Portugal (digital sales charts), #5 in Denmark and Spain, #7 in South Africa, #8 in Lebanon, #16 in Romania, #40 in Brazil, #44 in Japan, #51 in the United States, and #78 in Canada.
