Clark Minor has performed throughout the Northern California region of the United States. As winner of the Artist’s Showcase Competition in Redding, California, he performed with the Shasta Symphony Orchestra on three occasions, performing the Rachmaninoff Second, MacDowell Second and Saint Saens Fifth piano concertos. His performances were featured on the local PBS television affiliate on three occasions. He has performed at the Crocker Art Museum Gallery in Sacramento; California State University, Chico; College of the Siskiyous in Weed and Shasta College in Redding.
He studied for nearly twenty years with Mr. Duane Hampton of Redding, California, who studied with numerous renowned artists while a student and instructor at the Sherwood Music School in Chicago, Illinois. Some of those artists included Artur Schnabel, Dame Myra Hess and Maurice Dumesnil.
Along with his ongoing collaborative work with area collegiate choral groups and student recitals, Minor instructs music courses at California State University, Chico and Butte College.
