I agree with Aesthete, I didn't understand it on the first couple of listens, now it's great, and if I'm going to listen to CYHSY, I go straight to this album.

It's puzzling that Sword Song wasn't included in the regular LP. It's a very strong song, maybe the best on the entire album.

It took me so long to love this album. I loved the debut from the first 2 seconds of it, but this...it took me 4 listens. Now, I think I prefer it to the debut. It's more exciting.

This album was MADE to be listened to on vinyl. The distortion is perfect, anyone who doesn't like it was expecting something different.

it's a grower, like the band in general, just moreso. it's good, but I think it falls JUST short of the debut. as of right now, that's what I think.

And the distortion/distant sound is SO great in my opinion, it gives the entire thing a very sad and far away and nostalgic/unique sound I think. people should get the bonus track 'the sword song' if you haven't heard it, it's one of the best

In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful albums ever. I think it's better than the debut. Tracks 1,2,3,7,9,10,11 are honestly some of the most amazing tracks I've ever heard. I feel way more for this album than I do the debut and I think the songs are all stronger overall. Although I love both, this album is just spectacular to me.
