There are several bands called Circus.

1. A UK psych group lead by Philip Goodhand-Tait. They released two singles and an album 1967-69.

2. A Swiss progressive rock band in the 1970’s. The band is best known for the album “Movin’ On” (1977).
They recorded 3 albums: Circus (1976), Movin On (1977), Fearless Tearless And Even Less (1980) plus an “All star band” album called “Circus All Star Band” (1978) with members of many famous Swiss bands of the time.
They came apart around 1980, because it was not possible for them to make a living with progressive music - but their music lives on on the records :-)

3. One of Damon Albarn’s first bands. Only a few demos have been released, none of them offically.

Song include:
four different recordings of “Hippy Children”, “Burden Of These Dreams”, “The Rain”, “Black Rain Town”, “Buddha In The Bathroom”, “Put Me To Bed”, “There I Go Again”, “Bitter Sweet” and two different versions of “Waiting”

4. A Japanese band.

5. A Finnish boyband.

6. A Finnish progressive rock trio, founded 2002 and separated 2006

7. A South African glam\prog band.
