Biography

There appear to be three projects called Circular:

1) Norwegian duo Bjarte Andreassen and Jostein Dahl Gjelsvik form the electronic project Circular. Their music lies within the bounds of ambient genre with occassional experimental influences from side genres, such as idm and traditional electronica. The duo released four albums to date; the new album “Substans” was released 29th April 2009 on french label Ultimae.

2) Johannes Riedel and his dark ambient project Circular lead by himself solo. Johannes holds his residency on Loki Foundation label and has released three full albums to date. “Shaping the Unknown” (2007), “Deep Space Illumination” (2007) (with Inade) and “Cycles of Remembrance” (2010).

3) An apparently Spanish outfit responsible for “Ideas Inútiles”. Their Myspace page is http://www.myspace.com/popcircular
